This policy explains how Liberated Networks Inc, doing business as GetBettr.ai (“GetBettr”, “we”, “us”), uses cookies and similar technologies on our website at getbettr.ai. Please read it together with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal information more generally.
This policy covers our public website only. It does not cover the GetBettr application at app.getbettr.ai, or other websites we link to.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. They let a site recognize your browser when you return, keep you signed in, or measure how its pages are used. Cookies set by the website you are visiting are first-party cookies. Cookies set by another company, through a service that website uses, are third-party cookies.
Similar technologies work in much the same way. They include your browser’s local storage, and pixels or tags: small pieces of code that tell a service when a page has been viewed. In this policy, “cookies” includes them.
How we use cookies
We use cookies for four purposes.
Strictly necessary
These make specific parts of the website work. Most visitors never receive them. They are set only when a member of our team signs in to manage the website, or when you leave a comment on one of our articles and ask us to remember your details for next time.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how our website is used: which pages people visit, how they arrive, and where a page could be clearer. Google Analytics sets first-party cookies that distinguish one browser from another and group page views into visits. We look at this information in aggregate. We do not use it to identify individual visitors.
Advertising
We may work with advertising platforms to show our ads to people who have visited our website, when they later use other websites and apps. This is known as retargeting. The platforms place cookies, pixels or tags on our website that recognize your browser, record that you visited, and help us measure whether our ads work. They may combine this with other information they hold about you, under their own privacy policies.
Before we start working with an advertising platform, we will name it in this policy. Where the law requires your consent, advertising cookies are set only after you give it.
Embedded services
Our contact page includes a scheduler from Microsoft Bookings, so you can book a meeting with us. When you use it, Microsoft may set its own cookies to make the scheduler work. Those cookies are controlled by Microsoft and governed by the Microsoft Privacy Statement.

Your choices
Where the law requires your consent before analytics or advertising cookies are set, we ask for it first, and you can change your mind at any time.
You can also control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers let you block cookies, delete them, or be told before one is set, and explain how in their help pages. Blocking cookies will not stop you from reading this website. It may stop a comment form from remembering your details, and the meeting scheduler may not load. If that happens, you can reach us by phone or email instead. If you block advertising cookies, you may still see ads for GetBettr, but they will not be based on your visits to our website.
To stop Google Analytics from collecting information about your visits to any website, you can install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Google explains how it uses information from websites that use its services in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.
To limit ads based on your browsing more generally, you can use the opt-out tools of the Digital Advertising Alliance of Canada, the Digital Advertising Alliance in the United States, or Your Online Choices in Europe. Most advertising platforms also let you manage the ads they show you in your account settings with them.
Changes to this policy
We update this policy when the cookies we use change, and the date at the top shows when it was last revised. If we begin using cookies for a new purpose, or start working with a new advertising platform, we will update this policy before we do.
